Savvy Business helps manufacturing owners and managers find the bottleneck that already limits the plant — and run everything else from that fact. We work from Cape Town, mostly with factories that make things to order and are tired of being busy and late at the same time.
Who is behind it
I'm Gerschwin. I have a background in accounting and more than twelve years inside a family-run manufacturing company. The numbers always told a story. They rarely told you what to do on Tuesday morning when the line was full and the deliveries were slipping.
What changed the work was treating the bottleneck as a fact of production, not a malfunction, and building the whole plant around it. That is still the centre of Savvy Business. Practical, results-first, suspicious of software that arrives before the method does.
When I am not on a floor or in a planning meeting, I am usually with family, reading philosophy, talking theology, or watching Liverpool.
What we will not do
We will not start with a package of modules. We will not tell you the plant is broken because it has a bottleneck — every plant does. And we will not measure success by how many dashboards are live.
